Do you have Health Insurance?
We are an accredited Durable Medical Equipment Company and most insurance companies will cover a sleep study. Call your Insurance Company and ask them if they will cover a Home Sleep Study for you at 1/7th the cost of a clinic based sleep study. Most Insurance Companies do agree and will provide us with an authorization number to cover your test. Ask for a pre-authorization. If not, consider that the cost of this test is 1/7th of having it done at a sleep clinic. Your co-pay alone will cost you more to have your sleep testing done at a sleep disorders clinic. Not to mention, it usually takes months to get an appointment and you may need to take time off work and sleep at a clinic in an unfamiliar bed.
Do you have to Pay for it on your own?
Set up is completed at our store in Bellingham. Set-up takes about 15 minutes. You then take the monitor home and use it for one night. The next day we download your report which provides the diagnosis of sleep apnea. We will forward the results to your physician if you desire.
If you receive a positive diagnosis for sleep apnea you can proceed to our CPAP trail offer for one month before you buy one. Make sure it works for you.
